Bill Rafkin is a Managing Director of Cypress and is responsible for acquisitions, asset management, and development oversight of specific Cypress projects. He sits on the investment committee of Cypress. Mr. Rafkin has experience in most facets of real estate investing, development, and brokerage from his experience at Rafkin Lending, an advisory company making structured investments in commercial real estate; Panattoni Development Company, where he led capital markets initiatives worldwide; Koll Development Company, where he oversaw acquisitions and build-to-suit developments; Westwood Residential Company, where he oversaw capital markets activities; and Trammell Crow Company, where he leased, sold, financed and bought industrial properties. Mr. Rafkin received an A.B. from Harvard College in 1980 and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1984. He is a board member of the Real Estate Academic Initiative at Harvard University.
